The CHILDMINDING COURSE consists of three important sections namely: STIMULATION, CHILDCARE ISSUES, FIRST AID and HOME SAFETY.

This course will benefit any domestic worker who has any contact with small children giving her the confidence and knowledge with which to stimulate and care for your child and prevent or handle emergency procedures until someone more qualified than her self arrives.

Literacy is not a prerequisite as the delegate handout is easy to follow and is well illustrated. Sessions are very hands-on and delegates are able to practice the CPR steps on a First Aid doll thereby reinforcing theoretical discussions, which are very well explained by patient and well trained lecturers. Homework activities are also given.


Duration:Both courses consist of four sessions of 4 hours each.

Refresher courses are recommended at least every six months, as is the practice with any first aid or similar course. We will provide such a refresher course at a discounted price.
