Cooking and Baking is presented as two courses:

Basic Cooking and Baking that will benefit any domestic worker who has little or no knowledge of cooking and baking, giving her the confidence and the necessary skills with which to prepare some basic meals and teatime treats.

Our recipe book is fully illustrated and even the most illiterate will be able to cook from this book.
Recipes include meat dishes, vegetables, salads and basic teatime treats.

Discussions include measurements, personal hygiene, safety in the kitchen etc.

We recommend that after completion of the basic cooking and baking, that the delegate registers for our advanced cooking and baking course and that will ensure a domestic worker with greater cooking and baking confidence who can add more variety to your family meals.


Advanced Cooking and Baking that will benefit any domestic worker who has little knowledge of cooking and baking, giving her the confidence and the necessary skills with which to prepare some more advanced meals and teatime treats. Our recipe book is fully illustrated and even the most illiterate will be able to cook from this book.

Recipes include more advanced dishes such as chicken pie, which will cater for special occasions or when there are visitors. Recipes are categorized under meat dishes, vegetables, salads and more advanced teatime treats such as pancakes and chocolate cakes etc.
Discussions include serviette folding, table setting, balanced meals etc.
Please note that samples of prepared meals will not be sent home with the delegate, as they taste the prepared meals in class.
