CHILDMINDING FOR DOMESTIC WORKERS AND CHILDMINDERS

The Childcare course is made up of four modules namely Orientation, Hygiene, Baby and childcare, Infant and toddler stimulation and First Aid and Home safety. Clients are encouraged to do the course as a whole, as both modules are absolutely vital to the well being and development of the child.

Delegates attending all modules, attend 4 sessions of 4 hours each.

This first 3 modules benefits any domestic worker who has any contact with children, giving her the confidence, knowledge and skills with which to develop and stimulate the children in her care.

This First Aid and Home Safety module covers essential aspects of First Aid, home safety, CPR and the treatment of general ailments.

Delegates are equipped with skills with which to handle an emergency situation until more qualified assistance arrives at the scene.

Delegates will receive a manual during the course and a certificate will be posted from Head Office to the candidate after the course has been completed.
